The client sought to increase the efficiency of film processing/reading at its radiology hub and avoid increasing headcount as additional services (MRI) were added and utilization increased 5-7% annually due to advances in technology
Approach
As the client intended to roll out an automated system for radiology film processing over the next 18 months, the initiative served to identify the critical breakdowns in the current manual processes and lay the foundation for the utilization of the automated system
